Wayne Kaboni
President -Business Development • Wayne is a proud Ojibway from Wikwemikong, Ontario • Wayne has accomplished business success and has community leader with over three decades of entrepreneurial success in business and first nation government, has experience as food service and gas bar franchisee. • His background includes 10 years in the Technology Professional Services industry and was the First Aboriginal ISO 9002 computer assembler to be awarded a National Master Standing offer with the Federal Government. • Wayne was the General Manager at Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly (CNA) for 8.5 years. • Wayne is dedicated to social and economic development through incubating new aboriginal businesses and offering ISO 9000 management system services and electronic business solutions. • Wayne has over 30 years’ experience in aspects Quality Management, Project Management, and Technical Management, in both the private and public sector. • Board Member to ETSI-BC as Provincial appointee, Chair of the CTEM, and Trustee for the Wikwemikong Trust, President of the Conayt Friendship Centre
Hon. Lindsay Blackett
Partnership Developmeny • Lindsay Blackett is an accomplished community leader with over three decades of entrepreneurial success in business and in government.• Mr. Blackett’s diverse background includes 15 years in the electronics industry and two years as Board Chair of Sustainable Resources Limited, a boutique renewable energy and water management consulting firm.• During his two-year tenure as CEO of Chiniki First Nation, Mr. Blackett successfully led programs focusing on economic development, education and flood restoration and construction.• A member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary Northwest from 2008 until 2012. The Honorable Lindsay Blackett was appointed as The Minister of Culture and Community Spirit where he founded Alberta Heritage Days and authored the current Human Rights Bill in 2009.• Lindsay Blackett is an accomplished community leader with over three decades of entrepreneurial success in business and in government.
